Captain Laurent`
Laurent Masliah grew up sailing and windsurfing the waters of the Normanide coast. started by sailing 420's and went on keel boats early on. In College he had his first big race in the Carribeans on a 45 feet keel boat with Loick Peyron as is skipper. During this week he learned more than years of attending sailing school. But Laurent love of the sea didn't stop there, he had his French captain license at the age 17 and drove boats under sail or power ont he Mediterranean Sea and the Channel.
When Laurent moved to the United States he didn't want to stop and started sailing on the Tuesday Nights race in Marina Del Rey. But that wasn't enough and he started teaching and coaching at Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club and UCLA. There he is still teaching dinghies and keel boats as well as power boarts.
Laurent has a U.S. Coast Guards Captain License and his offering charters, deliveries and lessons.
